I can’t believe it’s time for another Christmas home tour- this year flew by! As you know it’s my favorite holiday season so be prepared for pictures overload. This year for Christmas decorating, I chose to buy very little and instead reused and repurposed almost all of my existing Christmas decor. I decorated 5 trees this year. The main one in the living room is decked out with most of my vintage ornaments, and other collected ornaments plus homemade pieces like paperchains. There is also the pink tree which was placed in the playroom this year with plush ornaments and a couple vintage ones sprinkled in, plus some cute bows. The tree upstairs with the Christmas chalkart was all about the disco balls and the cute red tree in Cheyenne’s room was decked in some of her colorful hair bows. The final one in the boys’ room has green and blue ornaments which plays off on the room’s new color scheme.
Now. we’re headed into the sunroom. As you saw in my prior post, Glory the fig was bedazzled in tinsel for Christmas. I added just a couple Christmas touches in here like these handmade trees, and mushrooms accessories. I also added a wreath as seen on that window below next my to my little elf.
And here is the pink tree! I love it here in the playroom with this fun Pierre Frey wallpaper as a backdrop on the walls.
I think this is my first time decorating this staircase for Christmas since it’s so difficult to photograph. There is no natural light here but I decided to give it a go this year. I’ve been making and decorating with paper chains for years and love the playful element they add. The honeycombs are a result of all props I have for the kids’ birthday parties. Now, I bring them out at Christmas time to use as decor.
Christmas would not be complete with a chalk mural by the hubby. The Christmas tree in here is all about the disco balls. You know how obsessed I am with disco balls!
Cheyenne’s cute little red tree
We’re now in the boys’ room that I recently painted in this blue and green color scheme. I’ll go in depth about this refresh in another post after Christmas.
Well, we’re at the end of the tour-thanks so much for stopping by. There are still some Christmas touches that didn’t make it to this post because it would probably be way too many pictures. Next week, the children will get Winter break from school and we’ll officially be in slow down mode. I want to wish each of you Merry Everything this Christmas. Be safe and enjoy! Much love.
Your Home is Beautiful!! Have a Merry Christmas.
