I am the founder and blogger behind Design Addict Mom. I live in North Carolina with my husband and three children. A prior educator turned self taught designer with over a decade of experience, I see life and approach design through a colorful lens. My goal is to inspire you to live out loud colorfully! I believe your space should be a reflection of you, so whenever I approach design, focusing on the people who occupy the space is very important. My own home is an expression of this as it’s a reflection of my culture. My husband and I are both Jamaican; I was born there and grew up there. Color is everywhere in Jamaica — Jamaicans live colorfully, we eat and dress colorfully, the facades of houses are colorful. Color is innate to us so it’s everywhere in our home.

Throughout my career I’ve collaborated with a diverse set of brands including HGTV, Starbucks, Target, and Anthropologie. My work has also been published online and in a number of national magazines and books  including Better Homes and Gardens, Reveal Magazine, HGTV Magazine, Domino Magazine, and the renowned Aphrochic book.
