dining room with mocha mousse walls

Pantone recently announced Mocha Mousse as their color of the year for 2025. Many were surprised as they thought surely that brat green or even burgundy were going to be all the rage for 2025. I’ve rounded up a couple interior examples of this color or close to it in case you might be inspired to try Mocha Mousse in your next project. Photo above: Maria Vous

According to Laurie Pressman, the Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, ” For Pantone Color of the Year 2025, we look to a mellow brown hue whose inherent richness and sensorial and comforting warmth extends further into our desire for comfort, and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can gift and share with others.”

You can never go wrong with blue and brown, but I also love the other colors used here-they add a rich depth to the space.

I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of wood tones in 2025. That’s also a great way to bring brown into a space.
