I actually repainted the space back in August and I actually repainted the space back in August and it was really for its shining moment that would take place in December with a green Christmas tree in here…(a bit extra I know). Anyway, I opted for the pink that had a higher LRV(right above the current pink on the color swatch). The current pink’s LRV was 34 and the new pink’s LRV is almost 52. So, what is LRV? Basically, light reflectance values are how much light a color on a surface reflects or absorbs said light. The scale runs from 0% meaning it reflects no visible light at all to 100% meaning it reflects all the light on the surface. Remember that the higher the LRV number, the lighter the color, and the lower the LRV number, the darker the color. This difference can significantly affect your room’s overall feel depending on how much natural or artificial light your room gets. I love the different light settings including the colorful light changes. It’s sporting many of my vintage ornaments that I’ve collected over the years. I saw these fringe garland at Michaels and they were the perfect finishing touch. I used the gold and silver garlands together. #designaddictmomathome #ilovechristmas
