I recently spotted this bedroom that is designed by Simo Design and immediately fell in love. As a light chaser, I was drawn immediately to the joyous light streaming in from those big windows. I love that the view of the outside makes it feel as if nature is almost...
I remember back in my early days of blogging when I would obsess over all things architecture. In fact, architecture might've been my first love. My tumblr is a testament to that. October 4th was World Architecture Day and though belated, we're still going to...
As a nature lover, it is no wonder I love the color green so much! I never tire of it and find it to be calming even in its most saturated tones. Of course Glory the Fig had to make the cut for post- I mean look at her! Though Cheyenne is probably stealing a bit...
This post is sponsored by The Home Depot. The amount of light and the quality of light in a space will greatly impact how that space is used or if it is used at all. I recently partnered with Home Depot to update the lighting in our guest bedroom and living room with...
You probably already know about this wonderful feature if you follow me on the gram. However, I wanted to note it here too on the blog and since we were away on vacation, and just returned(lots of Jamaican pics coming your way shortly btw), I didn't have a chance to...
Hi everyone! I am back with another reveal, this time it's our kitchen! We spend most of our time in the kitchen, yet you barely see any pictures of this space because besides the fact that it's always a mess in here, it's also extremely dark(see before pic after...
I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I would be unveiling a couple more projects, well, this is one of them. I am thrilled to have partnered with Velux USAto add these amazing VELUX No Leak Solar Powered "Fresh Air" Skylightsin the Sunroom. It's no secret...
I reluctantly took apart the crib a week or so ago as it was time. Cheyenne stopped using it ages ago and only climbed in to jump. I guess putting away the crib is my way of acknowledging and mildly accepting that our baby is growing up and is now an active toddler...
Hi everyone! How are you? As mentioned in my last post, I have been busy rearranging our house, painting, and Spring cleaning. I have a couple projects in the works that I can’t wait to share once they are completed, and I am thrilled to be able to share one of those...
How is everyone? My blog break was quite unintended but needed because I am wearing so many hats and juggling quite a bit right now. However, I hope to share a couple projects that I've been working on with you very soon. We're currently almost at the end of our...
I am a huge fan of deVOL Kitchens and this kitchen is one of my favorite of their shaker designs. The talented designer is Clarence & Graves. I love the green cabinets, the countertops, the brass finishes, the organic details...

If you know me, then you know why I am drooling over this pretty apartment. It has a number of my favorite elements-color, contrasts, books, plants, and lots of natural light. It's the prefect pick to showcase today on this very dreary, rainy, and overcast day....
I stumbled on this New York Times article that showcases a family of 4 and details how the couple has expertly utilized and maximized only 660 square feet! What an impressive use of space and having all those huge windows is definitely a plus in making the space feel...
I did this refresh earlier in the year, but didn't get around to posting about it here. I figured now is a great time to showcase a few of the projects that I tackled this year before going into 2021. This is the 3rd refresh this bedroom has seen hence, the title....
